Their day began in the quiet corners of the Borgo—each of them getting ready in their own room, surrounded by their closest friends and their loyal companions: Maui the dog and their sweet cat, who calmly followed the Borgo Castelvecchi wedding buzz. Laughter echoed, nerves softened and anticipation filled the old stone walls.
TEAM BRIDE - MOMENTS OF ANTICIPATION
Ilaria prepared for her big moment, surrounded by her dearest friends. Together, they helped her into the wedding dress, sharing laughs, tender glances and moments of anticipation. A special touch made the dress uniquely hers — she had lovingly modified the underlayer with her mum, adding a long, flowing skirt of delicate fabric that danced with every movement. Each detail was filled with love, setting the tone for the day. Before leaving for the ceremony, we captured the anticipation and loving excitement on the face of the bride in a brief bridal portrait moment.
TEAM GROOM - FRIENDS AND MAUI
In another corner of the Borgo, Dustin got ready with his closest friends and their loyal dog, Maui, never far from his side. The atmosphere was relaxed but filled with excitement—jokes were shared, ties were adjusted and the bond between lifelong friends was clear in every gesture. Dustin’s groomsmen led the way, walking in with Maui, proudly trotting down the aisle. The groom followed, arm in arm with his mother, his expression a mix of emotion and quiet joy. One by one, the bridesmaids appeared, and finally, Ilaria stepped into view. She walked slowly, her dress flowing, eyes locked with Dustin’s.

As night fully embraced the Borgo, guests gathered at the grand stone gate for the cake cutting — a sweet moment under the stars. With sparklers in hand and music softly building in the background, Ilaria and Dustin cut their cake to cheers and applause, sealing the evening with another kiss and a toast of bubbly.
And then the real party began. Music filled the courtyard, and the dance floor quickly came alive with energy and movement.
