This is what an elopement in Chianti actually feels like.
Ana and Kelvin traveled all the way from the States to trade a traditional wedding for a dream they’ve had for years: a private, high-energy escape to the heart of Chianti. They wanted a day that was less about a schedule and more about the vibration – think medieval stone, dusty cypress roads and a cold bottle of bubbles waiting at the finish line.
Elopement at Villa Sermolli, Pisa, Tuscany
No guest list, no tension – just the two of them hitting the road for their elopement in Chianti. We started the afternoon wandering through the stone streets of a medieval village, catching the breeze and soaking up that ancient Italian energy before heading out into the hills.
Then we stopped on a classic cypress-lined road for the main event. In the middle of that iconic landscape, Ana and Kelvin exchanged their vows. It was simple, private and honest. No microphones or fancy setups – just a quiet moment to celebrate their relationship in Italy.
To wrap up the day, we headed into the vineyards for sunset. They popped a bottle of Prosecco, toasted to being newlyweds and ended the afternoon exactly how you’re supposed to in Chianti: lying on a blanket right between the vines.
It was the most relaxed “reception” ever, and honestly, the perfect way to start married life.
