The perfect prelude to a Tuscan micro-wedding - Pre-wedding photoshoot in Siena countryside
Danielle and Avery traveled all the way from the USA to celebrate their intimate micro-wedding just outside of Florence, but before the main event, we headed into the wild hills of Siena for a pre-wedding session. It was an absolute dream from the very first frame. There is something so special about taking a breather just days before saying “I do” – skipping the wedding day timeline to just explore, match each other’s energy and take in the sheer scale of the Italian countryside together on their pre-wedding photoshoot in Siena countryside.
Elopement at Villa Sermolli, Pisa, Tuscany
The light we got for this session was the kind of thick, hyper-saturated gold you only see in Tuscan postcards. It spilled over the rolling hills and highlighted the stunning panoramic views of Siena. But as incredible as the landscape was, the real magic was the rhythm Danielle and Avery brought to the session. They didn’t need any direction – they just fell right into the moment, letting the warm summer breeze and the vast fields do the talking.
Honestly, this entire afternoon was exactly how a pre-wedding session should feel. Danielle and Avery have an attitude that is just contagious -they are fun, deeply loving, joyful, and so incredibly full of life. We spent the session laughing, running through the fields and capturing the effortless connection that defines them. It was a total blast from start to finishcand the perfect high-energy warmup for the beautiful celebration they had waiting for them in Florence a few days later.
Danielle and Avery, thank you for bringing unmatched energy to the Siena hills! Exploring these wild summer fields alongside you was a pure joy and your effortless chemistry made every single shot feel completely alive. Thank you for trusting the vision, chasing the light with me and making this session an absolute highlight.
